Muthill Golf Club is a 9 hole undulating parkland course with 18 tees, narrow fairways and well
protected greens. It is always maintained in good condition, which attracts a vast number of
visitors every year. Our free-draining soil means that Muthill is usually open when other nearby
courses are closed. The par 4's are not that long but Muthill's par 3's are quite challenging.

The second a 186 yard par 3 needs a straight drive, a pushed shot to the right and you may
find that your ball ends up out of bounds. Pull your shot left and you will find a tricky
pitch over a bunker to a green that falls away from you.

Our next par 3 is the 5th, a challenging 143 yard shot is needed to an elevated green, protected by
a deep bunker on the left and out of bounds over a stone dyke at the rear of the green.
If you par this you can brag in the clubhouse over lunch.

The final par 3 is the 9th, our signature hole. With a carry of 200 yards to a small green that
has been refered to as only large enough to park a fiesta. The green is protected by two bunkers
one left and one right. Any shot down the left is ok, but once again a pushed shot to the right may find that your out of bounds.

With the par for the course being 66 and the SSS 63 it is always pleasing to break par. The course record held by Colin MacGregor is a gross 61, this has stood for over ten years.
