Thawing out after some chilly play are Catherine, Alison, Mary & Moira.

Golfing and equipment tips were mixed in with several amusing anecdotes as David recounted tales of life as a golf professional.  His golfing hero is Seve and he was thrilled to have had the honour of welcoming him to Crieff to coach some Juniors a number of years ago.

We were encouraged to practise putting as a sure-fire way to improve our scores and, noting that the majority of us are ladies of mature years, he suggested that we also take some time before each round to 'limber up'  Eileen proposed a vote of thanks to David for a very entertaining evening.

LADIES OPENING EVENING - THURSDAY 25TH MARCH 2010

Twelve ladies braved the cold and drizzly conditions to play 9 holes in a 5 club competition. The winner was Catherine Stewart.
Rather more ladies then enjoyed a lovely buffet supper followed by presentation of Winter prizes and a Golf Question & Answer session led by David Murchie, Head Golf Professional at Crieff Golf Club and Honorary Professional at Muthill.
He presented the Winter League runner-up prize to Margaret Robertson and the Winter Eclectic runner-up prize to Vicki Smith and the most improved golfer in the 2009 season to Fran Stirk.
